Cheating is generally defined by any modifications to your game that would give you an unfair advantage compared to a player without them. The most obvious ones would be things such as '''X-Ray, Fly, Freecam''', but also ones such as mini-maps showing players, mobs or caves, or using game exploits in general. The only exception to this, is accessing the Nether roof, as by that point it has become a feature, since Mojang never fixed it.
