In early 2023,  Sashna built a public ice farm so that players may easily gather large quantities of ice. She built it on a couple of lakes near the centre of the tundra north-west of Spawn. This site has a lot of area she used to build it with minimal terraforming. It was also relatively easy to link with Spawn by connecting a string of lakes.

The farm has several long diagonals of spruce slabs. These cover water so that it spreads when you harvest the ice. There are also many log poles scattered around for ice to grow off of. You can sleep through the night and use an ender chest at the tents at each end of the farm or at the cabin in the middle of it.

The only way to reach the farm other than crossing the mountainous tundra is by boat. From Spawn, take the Amanita (Red/White) route until you reach the orange/white branch to your left. Then follow this route and turn off at the first white/white branch to reach the ice farm. You will have to go up a boat lift along the orange route.
